Notes: I love all of skintightsocks' Blaine/Kurt stories, but this is definitely one of my favorites. Filthy, sloppy, mind-shatteringly hot PWP that manages to stay totally IC and even realistically awkward. Which is just adorable on so many levels. Lovely mix of porn, fluff, humor, and more porn.

Kink: Humiliation (Situational)
Title: Knickerbocker Glory

(b) Inappropriate behaviour by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr in a Westchester ice-cream parlour.
[I may have made up the second definition.]
Notes: Few fics explore the idea of Erik and Charles being competitive with each other. In fengirl88's piece, the subtle abrasion of their one-man-uppmanship tempered by true affection gives the story an playfully edgy feel. That, plus it's an awesomely kinky story including but not limited to inturcural on a bear-skin rug, Charles sucking off a sundae spoon, and Erik getting hot and bothered in a very public area. Yum.

Kink: Whipping/Flogging
Title: All Humor is Situational

Summary: There are things Morgan doesn’t want to think about on a case, and he definitely doesn’t want that with Reid.
Notes: This is actually reads more humorous/light than the summary suggests. Pre-relationship, Morgan and Reid walk into a sex shop for a case. It's a short piece, so revealing much more than that would give it away ;) Whipping/Flogging is not really my kink, so what sold me on this story was the realistic interactions and characterizations, especially of Reid, who is canonly adorable and oblivious. "I'm a flincher," is pretty much my favorite line of this story, followed closely by "And I need a bandaid."

Kink: Dirty Talk

Like, make-a-sailor-blush, hardcore porno, even-the-devil-is-impressed, filthy mouth. Immediately after orgasm he turns back into dear, sweet, kind John. Sherlock is shocked/aroused.
Notes: I'm just so in love with the premise of this, and aslipperysloth carried through wonderfully. The porn is hot, the banter is lovely, and the characterization of John as observed by Sherlock is wonderfully canon. Perfect trifecta of all Sherlock fic.

Notes: An interesting premise (actually, I'm wondering why Dean/Impala isn't canon by now) carried out beautifully in this commenfic. The personification of the Impala is subtle, functioning as a vehicle (ha!) to Dean's psyche. Then again, the story serves as yet another reminder that Dean Winchester can please ladies of all kinds.

Kink: Obedience

Notes: Far be it for me to ever craft a kinky reclist without at least one work from the lovely lolafeist \o/ This fic has all the dirtybadwrong a reader could never dare to hope for and yet secretly craves. There are so many kinks displayed that it could have been recced under any category, but I put it under 'obedience' because the hottest part of this fic to me is the dynamic between Merlin and Uther. Merlin displays a kind of awe and trust of Uther that we see hints of in canon, but is fully (and kinkily!) explored in this AU. Kinky, kinky good fun.

Kink: Bites/Bruises

Summary: He’s still Sam’s brother though and no moment was too perfect he couldn’t ruin it.
Notes: I don't normally go for bloodplay, but I really liked the premise (a werewolf's blood is addicting for a vampire). This fic was such a lovely, kinky read, and Dean''s dorkiness at the end was particularly endearing. 

Kink: Sleepy/Unconcious
Title: Prince Arthur's Flowerbed

Summary: Arthur doesn't like flowers, poetry, doves, or honeycakes, ergo he doesn't like romance. Or does he?
Notes: This story is probably fluffier than you think it is (mainly because although somonophilia is one of my kinks, I totally chickened out and went for cute rather than kinky with this rec, forgive me!) Every night while Arthur's sleeping, someone is sneaking into his room and filling it with flowers. The banter is funny, the characterization apt, and even Uther is kind of adorable in this. Set in Season 1 when everything was (relatively) beautiful and nothing hurt ;_____;

Kink: Wet, Messy, Dirty

Summary: Academy era, McCoy and Kirk are caught in the rain.
Notes: Not a pairing I usually go for, but this fic came heavily recommended, and after reading it, I could definitely see why. The fic, and its subsequent sequels goes the rare route of exploring how McCoy and Kirk worked themselves into a relationship after not getting along at first. The dialogue is crisp and witty, and the fic was a joy to read, even for a non-shipper like me.

Kink: Authority Figures
Title: Step into My Office, Baby

Summary: They're kind of like Tony Stark and Pepper Pots, only they're mostly immoral, and have lots of hot, filthy sex.
Notes: Never even contemplated this pairing before, but this PWP is scotching. Crowley is the perfect asshole-boss - cool, dominating, arrogant, but Adam has snark of his own. Probably helps that this fic includes some of my bulletproof kinks - rimming, temperature play, one character keeping his suit on (Crowley) while the other is compeletely nude. The AU setting is also very fitting for their characters.

Kink: Plushie/Furry Kink
Title: But the Cat Came Back

Notes: Cat!fic is my crack. That's not even a funny statement, considering how true it really is. Kitten!Charles is a wonderful thing (taking liquor with his milk, yes indeed), but the characterization of Erik is the winner in this fic. twelve_pastels manuvers carefully around angsting!Erik, and his reaction to Charles' disappearence, while keeping the fic realistic and upbeat. Hilarious cameos by Erik's bff Emma, the mysterious M, and M's "asshole younger brother". Can we all say: "Awwwwwwww...."

Kink: Penance/Punishment
Title: Penance

Summary: After Sam frees Lucifer, Dean knows that he’s sorry, knows he would take it all back if he could, but Dean’s still hurting over Sam choosing Ruby over him. Sam has to understand that saying sorry won't help Dean forgive him, it's going to take more than that.
Notes: A thoughtful exploration of what comes after Sam's actions in S.5. Dean is not a pushover and the ending is so, so sweet.

Kink: Body Alteration/Injury

Notes: An inventive take on the prompt and a powerful piece. I've always wondered at the power discrepancy between Dean and Castiel, and what Castiel could be capable of if he had the inclination. An reverse-wing-kink fic, so to speak. The ending is chilling.

Kink: Fisting/Stretching

Notes: Gotta love a fisting fic with plot. There's lovely, lovely resolved angst in this one, which is possibly more of a kink for me than the fisting, but I digress. I also generally adore what_alchemy's descriptions, of New Vulcan and of Kirk's thought process. Gorgeous prose.

Kink: Chastity Devices
Title: Captive

Warnings: Features a character being kept in a chastity device against his will (though not by a lover). Because their experience with such devices is a non-consensual one, the characters' attitudes towards such devices in general may read as negative/kink-averse. But I like to think that even Dean is starting to glimpse some of the appeal by the end.
Summary: A magical chastity belt attaches itself to Dean and won't let him go until he proves himself. Somehow.
Notes: This fic is just hilarious. Dean's POV is completely on-target and the prose is tongue-in-cheek witty all the way through. I love the slow build towards Dean/Castiel! It made it that much more believeable that Dean might have actually learned something from this little misadventure. Also, Castiel's lines are adorable.

Kink: Sex Toys (Non-Penetrating)

The way he always blushed and squirmed when Kurt dug his toes into Blaine's thigh to get his attention. The way Blaine always had to stop way sooner than usual when they started making out after he'd been rubbing Kurt's feet.
Notes: Another awesome fic by skintightsocks \o/ Like the title indicates, this fic has a lovely tone of sexual exploration. Blaine and Kurt have wonderful dialogue and the affection between them makes this both kinky and fluffy!

Notes: The premise sounded really intense, and at first I didn't know if I'd like it (non-con and watersports are not really my thing), but the fic is incredibly well-written, and the powerplay between Kirk and Spock is facinating in its own right.

Kink: Medical Kink
Title: Just What the Doctor Ordered

Notes: Not much in the way of kinky medical equipment, but Dean's sensual exploration of Castiel's body through caring for his injuries lends a poignant note to this fic. Sweet, sexy, and funny.

Kink: Breathplay

Notes: Everything that hollycomb writes is golden. I adore this fic because it is just as much a character study as it is an action story. She writes the best Sulu POV I've ever come across. Kirk and Sulu's relationship has its realistically petty antagonisms and misunderstandings, but at the end of the day, these two boys just fit.

Kink: Vanilla Kink

Notes: I love the close, comfortable atmosphere of these conversations. Prussia is so rarely protrayed as the experienced, world-weary nation he is, and in this fic he imparts advice on warfare, destiny and telemarketers with the Prussian snarkiness we all know and love. It's a wonderful contrast between everyday domesticity and hard-won lessons of love, loss, and the movement of history.

Notes: What I like about this fic is its almost casual air. The interactions between Thor and Loki are very comfortable and canon, and the description of the orgy gives it a sense of ease. It's amazingly hot that Thor and Loki still manage to remain brotherly after it all.
