This story is so beautiful with its mix of humor and angst. I think it has the perfect blend of the two. It was really refreshing to see a Nikolai character study told from Clint's POV. And I just love the "death is brick that Nikolai is building" metaphor, especially with Clint's willingness to stay by Nikolai as long as the cracks are there. I get the feeling he'll stay there even if the cracks aren't there. Just stand by the wall, you know?
