Yay! This year's Kink Bingo was tons of fun, not the least of which were the amazing fics that I was able to read. Here are ten totally arbitrary non-mod prizes (sorry, I *fail* at banners, so just have my undying love, yeah?)

Notes: Incest has never been much of a kink or squick to me, but I've always been interested in how family members would come to terms with their attraction. Strange Steps is short, but with a poignant mood that resonates long after it has been finished. Loki and Thor's interactions are spot-on, both in-character and so brotherly that this scene could have come straight out of the movie. Awkward and lovely.

Summary: Charles enjoys a night on the town and wakes in the bed of the stranger he met last night. He insists that nothing happened between them, but that doesn't stay true for long. Erik fails miserably at not being jealous and when he finds out who the 'stranger' was, things come to a head.
Notes: As you can probably tell from the pairing(s), this story is pretty twisted, in the best way possible. I'm a huge fan of the slut!Charles and jealous!Erik trope, and it's interesting to see a Shaw/Charles that is not non-con. Still, Shaw is Shaw, and even when it's consensual, it's ... intense. Lots of powerplay and mind-fuckery woven in the mind-shatteringly hot sex. Multiple rounds, because Shaw is a stud like that. Not for the faint-of-heart.

Summary: Millionaire Misha Collins has decided to settle down. He's an unusual Alpha, and winds up taking shy, naïve Omega Jared under his wing and into his heart.
Notes: For this round,janice_lester has written several spectacular SPN RPF knotting fics, and I adore each and every one (seriously, go read them all!) but this particular story is my favorite because it really shakes up the Alpha/Omega trope (with easygoing Alpha!Misha and spunky Omega!Jared) and gives the AU a realistic social stucture. I love the slow buildup between Misha and Jared, how in-character they are the entire story, and just basically everything about it. It's a nice, long length (10K) but I am greedy and would read so much more!

I don't normally enjoy original series/original character fic, but this one did a great job of setting up the background and characters without losing focus of the kink. I really want more in this universe!

Either way, it's a graceful and highly canon exploration of an unusual kink, and a must-read.
